Banana Pear Green Smoothie Recipe

Banana Pear Green Smoothie Recipe

This is a recipe I make regularly when I’m feeling bloated, or after one of those weekends where you just eat too much junk. It’s super easy to make and only really takes about 5 minutes to prepare. If I’m making this in the morning, I’ll even chop up the ingredients, put it in a cup and leave it in the fridge the night before. Almond milk gives it a creamy taste, but sometimes I will replace it with water if I want something more refreshing. I like to use my home made almond milk (recipe can be found on under the food & recipes category), or you can use the store bought option. I also recommend waiting until the D’Anjou pears are ripe and slightly soft, they will taste much sweeter this way. All the measurements are approximate. I find with smoothie recipes, you really need to adjust each portion and play around with the recipe to find the flavour you like.
